I’ve written several keyboard reviews1– i have a thing for them. This one is on the Logitech keys-to-go bluetooth keyboard. This is my new favorite keyboard. It is a fantastic lightweight portable wireless keyboard — the one you need to go get. Its the culmination of years of design expertise from Logitech and its good.
The keys-to-go is a relatively small keyboard that has a fabric cover that prevents spills and dirt from getting under the keys. Logitech first released a fabric keyboard attached to an iPad case last year and now they are releasing it without the iPad case. This is good because I don’t like the iPad case and I’d like to use it with other devices. This keyboard is an improved version of their previous fabric keyboards with keys that are soft to touch but have a mechanical feel to them. The keyboard is super lightweight but strong, it has a normal layout with a few specialized keys for pairing and switching devices.
At first glance you are probably thinking that typing on this keyboard would be bad because of the fabric. This is not the case — surprisingly the feel of this keyboard is great. There is good travel under the keys and it has a mechanical feel to it. I can type very quickly on it with no learning curve.
I strongly recommend this keyboard. If you own an iPhone or iPad you want this.
It comes in three colors (I chose the black one) and it will work with any of your iOS devices and even your Mac. The keyboard is just now shipping from Logitech and its distributors (Amazon) and costs $69.
